Bring the kids for a day of fishing fun. Kids 12 and under get into the Expo for Free!

Trout Pond

The trout pond is a extra fee feature at the WI Ice Fishing Expo that let’s kids dip a rod in the water and catch a live trout to take home. As an extra bonus we will have an assortment of prizes for each kid that catches a tagged trout!

Ice Fishing 101

Ice Fishing Basics will teach you the skills and equipment needed to begin ice fishing.  From making sure you have the appropriate safety equipment to be safe while on the ice along with guiding you through the equipment and skills needed to get through the ice and  start catching fishing.  The first 50 youth sixteen and under that attend the seminar will receive a ice fishing combo.

Kids Zone & Santa Sunday!

Be sure to get to the WI Ice Fishing Expo and visit the Kids Zone! They will have fun games and activities for the kids. Let your little ones test there skill at a bag toss simulated fishing derby. Each bag will represent different weights that they will then have to register at a weigh-in. They will also have some pop-up hub shelters that kids can get timed on to see how fast they can get a hub shelter set up.

Plus we will have a special visitor from the North pole visiting the WI Ice Fishing Expo on Sunday. Be sure to get the kids to the Expo to get photos and have all the little kids make their wish requests with Santa!

Kids Can Play Fish Bingo Sponsored by ACME Tackle!

Fish Bingo is at the WI Ice Fishing Expo. The first 300 kids 12 and under each day of the Expo can pick up a bingo card from the Youth Zone, just inside the entry doors. Fill each spot on the card and your child will receive a WI Ice Fishing Expo goodie bag at the finish line booth. The goodie bag, sponsored by ACME Tackle Co., will include a lure, some candy, WI Ice Fishing Expo temporary tattoo or sticker. This promotion will run while supplies last each day of the Expo. This is a great way to keep your kids engaged and busy at the Expo.
